Summer Elementary District Program Special Education Teachers (Grant Funded) - 2026

Positions: Special Education District Program Teachers

 

Requirements: Appropriate Certification Required

 

Description:

• Implement a four-day program through summer (program operational hours:  Monday - Thursday from 7:50 a.m. to 1:10  p.m., July 6 through July 30, 2025
• Participate in a professional development program on June 29 and 30, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Work with students from District Programs (DSC, Strides, and/or Target Program)
• Support all students, including all parts of their programming (academic, social/emotional/behavioral, activities of daily living)
• Data collection at the beginning and end of the summer program
• Assist with program evaluation upon completion of the program
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the ESY directors.

Compensation: In accordance with BEA Unit A contract (prorated in accordance with hours or days worked)
