Position:

Information Technology (IT) Systems and Network Technician

 

Description:

Support all technology infrastructure, applications, devices, and integration systems for six school facilities and town facilities when required.

 

The Systems and Network Technician performs specialized technical work in the repair and maintenance of various electronic devices such as personal computers, iPads, Chromebooks, and printers for both the administrative and instructional clients. Work involves using specialized testing devices and maintenance documentation to determine malfunctions; repairing computer equipment; assembling devices; and installing electronic components. The Systems and Network Technician assists in the coordination of network operations and performs network connections as needed. In the absence of the Systems and Network Manager, the network/repair technician(s) are the primary contact for necessary functions to secure the operability of the network. The Systems and Network Technician adheres to all IT Department and Educational Technology procedures relating to software installation, hardware, inventory, back up plan and all other procedures defined within the IT Department.

 

Functions and Skills:



Education and/or Experience:

Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Related Field Preferred

Experience in Educational setting Preferred



Compensation:

Full Year (12 Month) Position

Per Information Technology Contract
